About me
My name is Wade Whitney - I am an Educational Consultant with the Performance Based Education Company, based out of Starkville, Mississippi. PBEC is a well-respected professional development company that is currently supporting approximately 300 schools in both Alabama and Mississippi. Our professional portfolio includes - but is not limited to - new teacher coaching/mentoring, subject-area teacher coaching, leadership development and coaching, ACT and WorkKeys boot camps, and the effective use of data to drive instruction in the classroom. Personally, I am a retired 35-year professional educator - 25 years in Alabama, 10 years in Mississippi. I have been fortunate enough to serve as a classroom teacher, a head football coach, an athletic director, a middle school principal, a high school principal, and a Superintendent of Education. My 35 years as a professional educator has afforded me the opportunity to develop the 10 C's of Leadership. I am excited to share these practical, common sense traits with everyone that leads either students or staff.
