Faith Plunkett, an Entertainment Technology Academy instructor at Monte Sano Elementary, has been named one of 30 teachers nationwide as a 2015 PBS Learning Media Digital Innovator.
Plunkett, was recognized for her teaching practices that integrate digital media and technology in the classroom.
She teaches students in grades kindergarten through fifth grade about computer programming, coding and the importance of digital citizenship. She also helps her fellow teachers to think outside the box when implementing technology in the classroom.
