2026 Engage Learning Conference

This session focuses on elevating the student experience by integrating Depth of Knowledge (DOK) frameworks with high-hospitality instructional practices. The session guides educators through a refresh of Depth of Knowledge (DOK) to help them distinguish between rote recall and extended, strategic thinking and to analyze how their current use of apps and programs supports (or undermines) deeper learning. A portion of the presentation is dedicated to leveraging MagicSchool AI, specialized chatbots, and tools for effective prompt writing to "level up" instruction that increases student engagement and fosters lasting educational memories.
