Technology in the upper elementary classroom should enhance learning, improve classroom management, and strengthen communication, not create additional complexity. This session explores practical strategies for integrating Classroom Screen, Lightspeed Classroom, ClassDojo, Google Classroom, and emerging AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, and ChatGPT to support instruction, monitor student activity, and streamline communication with families.
Participants will learn how Classroom Screen and Lightspeed Classroom can be used to monitor student device activity, manage transitions, and maintain focus during instruction. The session will also demonstrate how ClassDojo and Google Classroom support classroom culture, organization, and family engagement.
Additionally, educators will explore how AI tools like Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, and ChatGPT can help teachers craft clear, concise, and professional messages to parents—saving time while improving clarity and consistency in communication. Attendees will leave with practical strategies and real-world examples that can be implemented immediately in upper elementary classrooms.
